The Philly Pretzel Factory* is home of the Real Soft Pretzel and is the world’s largest Philly-style pretzel bakery. They have well over 100 franchised locations, and growing. The company was founded in May 1998, by Dan DiZio and Len Lehman. They cut the ribbon on their first Philly Pretzel Factory, and immediately released batch after batch of real soft pretzels. The demand for the Philly-style treat became so large that the partners were given no choice but to offer pretzels “Hot, Outta The Oven”! This new-found way of serving pretzels became an instant hit and has played a major part in the success of their first location.
This was the second ‘O’ gauge Philly Pretzel Factory Car released by the Atlantic Division. It is a Lionel boxcar featuring the Phil E. graphic along with graphic of fresh-baked pretzels with logo (Lionel catalog # 6-58598). The car features die-cast fully sprung trucks and operating couplers. It was decorated by Weaver Models. Quantities were limited and we have a very small inventory remaining.
We are out of storage space and need to clear these out before the next order of cars arrives. Originally priced at $65 each, these are available online only for just $39.99, plus shipping (or free local pickup). At this reduced price, this car will sell out quickly, so order your car without delay!
